Turbodog is a dark brown ale brewed with pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate, toffee-like flavor. 5.6% ABV.
Wrought Iron IPA
Abita Wrought Iron IPA embodies the resilient, indestructible nature of New Orleans. This india pale ale is forged with the intensity of Apollo, Equinox and Mosaic Hops. Brewed with pale ale malt for a golden color as bright as iron from a fiery forge. 6.9% ABV.
Bayou Bootlegger is a decidedly adult take on the old-fashioned soda fountain root beers of days gone by. Gluten-free and sweetened with pure Louisiana cane sugar, this handcrafted beer delivers aromas of wintergreen, vanilla and sassafras, with hints of clove and anise. 5.9% ABV.
Strawberry Lager (Mar-Jun)
Abita Strawberry Harvest is a lager brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and Vanguard hops. Real Louisiana strawberry juice is added after filtration resulting in a crisp lager with a sweet strawberry flavor, aroma and haze. 4.2% ABV.
Blueberry Wheat (Jul-Sep)
This crisp wheat beer has the aroma and flavor of fresh Louisiana blueberries. The juice from local blueberries is added to complement the toasty malt flavor. 4.4% ABV.
Peach Lager (Sep-Nov)
Fresh Louisiana peaches are handpicked for this smooth lager. Pale malt gives the beer a sweet, crisp taste, with abundant amounts of ripe, juicy peaches added in the brewhouse to capture the flavors and aromas of real, fresh fruit. 4.5% ABV.
Grapefruit Honey Lager (Dec-Feb)
Ripe, juicy Louisiana ruby red grapefruits are paired with the sweetness of locally-sourced honey to create a refreshing brew with a citrus aroma and clean malt taste. 4.2% ABV.
Mardi Gras Bock (Jan-Mar)
Abita Bock is brewed with pale, pilsner and caramel malts and German Perle hops. Our bock is similar to German maibocks with its rich malt flavor and full body. 6.5% ABV.
Christmas Ale (Nov-Dec)
Each year at the Abita Brewery they craft a special dark ale for the holiday season. The recipe changes each year so that Abita Christmas Ale is always the perfect gift.
Bad Mother Shucker (limited)
This big, bold oyster stout brings pale, caramel, roasted and chocolate malts to the party, balanced by crisp Willamette hops and the sweet, full flavor of oats. The magic happens near the finish, when Louisiana oysters are added to infuse a sea-salty essence that really rounds things out. 8.0% ABV.
Brewed with malted wheat and barley and German Perle Hops, fresh key limes are added during aging to create this sour ale with hints of lime, coriander and sea salt. 4.1% ABV.
